CSM are very proud of our ongoing partnership with 198 Contemporary Arts & Learning in Brixton and BA Critism, Communication and Curation. This collaboration, developed over a number of years has provide an opportunity for the BA course to work with young people in Brixton and South London to explore the process of making art in and outside of the gallery setting and the process of curation.

Please take some time to visit the gallery to see the Minor Transitions project. This exhibition exploring adolescence as a tense and transitional period in life.  Inspired by the rebellion and creativity experienced in this shifting interval between childhood and adulthood,Minor Transitions aims to create a space to generate conversations and reflections on contemporary youth culture. The gallery is holding a poetry slam on 29 May 7-10pm to mark the end of the project.

Watch this space for more events including Hustlebuck’s Brixton Market event to introduce their Brixton collection and happenings to coincide with London Collection: Men events.
