As you’d expect, Central Saint Martins students and graduates are well represented at this year’s London Design Festival. So, where can you find their work?

The Intelligent Optimist
This month-long exhibition explores the various futures for design. On display in our Lethaby Gallery and Window Galleries, you’ll find everything from guerilla communication platforms to excessively long shoes designed to slow your pace of life. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of events.

UAL Now will be at the designjunction exhibition on Southampton Row. This showcase features 16 UAL graduates, ten of whom are from Central Saint Martins.

As part of the designjunction show, our Product and Industrial Design programme also will be asking ‘What’s The Future of Product and Industrial Design Education?’ The debate will be captured and visualised by a team of our graduates.

Alma
Using offcuts provided by luxury leather specialist Alma, six Central Saint Martins graduates will be working to create new designs. From cabinets to ottomans, the pieces will be exhibited at the Alma factory in Whitechapel’s Greatorex Street.
