The BA Fashion Catwalk Show is taking place today here at Central Saint Martins, with 41 graduating students presenting their collections.

The show marks Fashion Programme Director Willie Walters’ last graduate show after twenty-four years at CSM, 18 of which she has been Course Director of BA Fashion.

Speaking to Business Of Fashion, she promised the show would be “like a silent protest”:

This year it’s very much to do with political events and what the students are feeling. There’s a lot of work that is influenced by feelings of globalisation and mixed cultures.

Some of the varied influences this year include the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, deforestation by oil companies in Ecuador, photographer John Bulmers, the 2014 Hong Kong democracy protests, and pinstriper Steve Kafka.

Tune in to the livestream above from 3pm today to see it in full for yourself. Photo highlights will be here on the news section later this week.
