With London Fashion Week taking place this week, our MA Fashion students will be taking to the catwalk for their annual scheduled show this Friday, 19 February at 8pm. This is an industry only event with limited, invite only tickets, but fear not because we will be streaming the show live right here.
Showcasing 16 collections, specialising in menswear, womenswear, knitwear and textiles for fashion. The show reflects the course’s emphasis on individuality and experimentation underpinned by depth of research and a rigorous design development process.
“We communicate the way we think, what we see, how we feel. Driven by discovery, inspired beyond the immediate, the living landscape. We reveal exposure, abstraction, ideogrammatical poetry, reality and fantasy, logical paradoxes involved in eclectic contamination. Each year the show’s sponsor L’Oréal Professional awards a designer with the prestigious L’Oréal Professionel Creative Award in recognition of design talent. Last year the prize was awarded to Matty Bovan and Beth Postle who have both received international recognition for their designs.
