This year’s Nina de Yorke Illustration Prize has been won by Central Saint Martins student James Wheeler.

The competition aims to encourage and celebrate illustration, offering a generous £1,000 prize for the winner. Wheeler scooped first prize with his energetic drawing of two figures. Lisa Naunheimer, also a Central Saint Martins student, was named runner-up for her delicate watercolours of male models.

Our Museum and Study Collection has acquired both the winning pieces.
