Last night our BA Fashion students unveiled their final collections at the annual BA Fashion Press Show.
Presenting the collections of 41 students from across all five pathways (Womenswear, Menswear, Knit, Print and Fashion Design with Marketing), the show featured sculptural garments, written statements and surreal concepts, showcasing the diverse talent of our students. For the first time, the show took place in the fashion studios, bringing the guests right into the centre of Central Saint Martins’ fashion department and was live streamed via Vogue Italia for all to enjoy.
The evening saw the announcement of this year’s L’Oréal Professionnel Young Talent prize which was awarded to Paolina Russo for her innovative sportswear-inspired collection created from deconstructed athletic equipment with Matilda Söderberg, Simon Valer Dacsef and René Scheibenbauer all announced as joint runners-up.
