Having collaborated closely for the last six years, LVMH and Central Saint Martins are accelerating their partnership in 2017 with an initiative supporting the future of creativity

At the centre of this new partnership is a programme dedicated to disruptive thinking and ethical creative practice. Founded on a shared ambition to cultivate resilient and adaptive designers for the future, the two institutions are building on their previous work together. To lead this relationship, the College will be welcoming the first CSM LVMH Director of Sustainability and Innovation (call for applications is now open). This prestigious position will not only guide the collaboration but also formalise the College’s commitment to robust future-thinking across its curriculum.

Previous commitments will continue to flourish such as projects with LVMH Maisons which bring students and industry together to tackle the challenges facing the luxury industry and beyond. Others will grow in scale, the new partnership sees LVMH nearly double the number of scholarships it supports at the College as well as broadening its engagement across all disciplines.

This exceptional commitment by LVMH to Central Saint Martins will enable the two partners to co-design a world leading programme, so allowing the talents of tomorrow to be immersed in issues of sustainability and innovation.
Jeremy Till, Head of Central Saint Martins
