Alumni and staff from Central Saint Martins’ BA Textile Design present their work at Talent! in New York alongside seven other leading design schools from across the globe.
The show is part of the inaugural New York Textiles Month a city-wide festival celebrating textile creativity and awareness, initiated by trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort. Talent! – at Nolan Park on the Governors’ Island until 18 September – includes work by 16 CSM alumni and staff, showcasing the latest innovative and playful projects. The work is divided into three themes: 2D to 3D, Happy Accidents and Material Artisans – all celebrating the constantly evolving textile culture at Central Saint Martins.
