Following the Degree Shows earlier in the summer, sports brand Oakley challenged four BA Graphic Design students, Anna D’Assaro, Annie Lam, Bee Österman and Grace McGettigan to create, develop and present a single design showcasing the diversity of London’s cycling community.

Drawing inspiration from obsessive BMX bikers to Alley Cat Races, the four graduates’ final designs are now on display at Oakley’s The Workshop In Residence.

The project offered the graduates a platform not only to display their designs but also to work to a brief set by a reputable client

Bee Österman:

The Oakley project was a great opportunity to see how it is to work with a real client, just a few days after graduating.

Anna D’Assaro:

This project gave us the opportunity to experience a live client brief with such a reputable brand like Oakley, and the whole experience has given me the chance to build a huge sense of confidence.

The exhibition, situated in Exmouth Market, is currently open to the public and closes at the end of August.
