Congratulations to Sarah who was awarded one of three £2,500 Mead Scholarships and Fellowships last week.
Sarah plans to use the scholarship to create a body of work that will support observational learning in medical education. It’s inspired by her time volunteering at observation skills workshops for medical students at Imperial College during her second year.
“It’s incredibly exciting to now be able to take this project much further than I could have hoped to do without the support of the scholarship. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of an interdisciplinary project, and I’ll hand the work over to Imperial College at the end”
The Mead Scholarships and Fellowships, managed by Student Enterprise and Employability and supported by philanthropist Scott Mead, are designed to support UAL students and recent graduates in the pursuit of excellence through the development of their creative practice.
