Biography

I am a Lecturer and Studio Tutor for BA Architecture and Embedded Academic Support Tutor. I have a studio in Hackney where I work as a multidisciplinary practitioner and educator across Architecture, Art, Making and Film.

From a family of builders, a love of making was garnered from a young age which led to work as a fabricator in experimental systems and construction in sensory experience installations, as well as roles in more traditional wood/metal workshops. I am a multi-skilled tradesperson with experience in construction across stonemasonry, bricklaying, carpentry and hard/soft landscaping on residential and commercial projects throughout the South East of England.

My ongoing thesis project examines the role of chance operations as prolific generator of unexpected objects and asks the question: To what extent does design need to be intentional?

I have been an invited critic and lecturer at schools of Architecture in the UK and mainland Europe.
