Biography

I am a registered architect (ARB / RIBA) and WELL Accredited Professional with a passion on residential design. I am director of The Good Thing, a design think-tank based in London examining well-being in architecture through an evidence-based approach. Our portfolio includes projects that span scales from architecture and public space to interiors and product design, all inspired by nature and people. At The Good Thing we also offer consultancy services on health and well-being strategies in the built environment with a focus on materials.

With over 15 years’ experience in the architecture sector, I have worked on a wide range of projects. Most recently, I worked at Lily Jencks Studio and JencksSquared with Charles Jencks. Previously, I co-founded the multidisciplinary practice ‘equipopropio’ in Spain. Some of the projects led by myself or in collaboration with other practices have been widely published and awarded. I was recently shortlisted for the RIBAJ Rising Star 2020.

At Central Saint Martins, I co-lead vertical design Studio 8 at BA Architecture where we focus on domesticity, ecology and well-being in Social Housing.
