Biography

I am an architect based in London (United Kingdom), born in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I am a programme head of the AA Visiting School Rio, a lecturer at UCL Bartlett and an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins where I run design studios and teach architecture histories and theories. I am also a PhD examiner and regular guest critic of several UK institutions, including the University of Cambridge and the Royal College of Art, and I have lectured worldwide at Yale University (United States), Mendrisio Academy (Switzerland), and Yonsei (South Korea). I earned my PhD from the AA in 2020 with a thesis on the relationship between ideological enclosures, ownership, and urban form. As a practising architect, I have worked on urban design and public housing developments in Rio and Paris (France).
