Biography

Marlene is a practising jeweller working in modern materials, acrylic and stainless steel. she studied in Belfast at the Ulster College of Art moving on to the Royal College of Art.

Her work is included in the collections of various museum collections, including The Victorian and Albert museum, The National Museum of Scotland, MIMA in Middlesbrough, and the Koch ring collection in Germany.

In her professional practice, Marlene enjoys making simple structures to create comfortable, wearable, rhythmic pieces, often involving colour.
