I grew up in Sweden and then trained at Parsons School of Design and The Cooper Union in New York before moving to London in 2001. I have practised as a UK architect for 15 years, principally working with educational projects across a wide range of scales inmy role as Associate at Cottrell and Vermeulen Architecture. In 2008, I completed a self-build with my partner Luke Lowings on a garage plot in North London. The space saving timber scheme is designed flexibly for an extended family and was featured in the press and Channel 4’s “Building the Dream”. Alongside architectural practice I maintain an interest in writing, drawing and cross-disciplinary collaboration and research. My independent projects range from travel writing to temporary installations and have been featured in the Guardian, PUBLIC, at the University of Brighton and temporary exhibition spaces in London and Sweden.
