Biography

I am an architect, photographer, educator and a director of Tasou Associates, an architecture studio dedicated to creating healthy and energy-efficient buildings that are comfortable all year round. I am also a certified Passive House designer.

I studied at the University of Cambridge, Central Saint Martins and Riga School of Design and Art and have worked at and collaborated with a number of architecture, art, design and research practices in the UK and Europe.

Weaving in commentary on monuments, ‘facadism’, memory and architectural aesthetics, my postgraduate research focused on conservation as an integral driver for change, drawing parallels to both current conservation and listing principles and their development in response to radically evolving landscapes. This is an ongoing research interest of mine and I continue to mainly work with heritage buildings, often in challenging urban contexts.
