Kathleen Hills is an Associate Lecturer in Product Design & Ceramics. She had a wide range of teaching experience having taught at CSM for nine years and also teaching regularly at various other universities as a visiting lecturer in both product design and professional development. Kathleen Hills received a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching from UAL in 2011.
She set up her design studio in 2002 after graduating with a 1st class Honour Degree from Central St Martins and an MA from The Royal College of Art. Kathleen designs products for home and retail spaces, which are produced in factories in Stoke on Trent.
She is a keen promoter of British manufacturing. Kathleen¹s work has been published in various national and international magazines and newspapers including The Telegraph, The Observer, Blueprint and Elle Decoration. Hills' products are now sold in major retail outlets such as Liberty, Fortnum and Mason, Heals and Le Bon Marche.
