Since the mid-90s I have written for or been a Contributing Editor to titles including i-D, Fantastic Man, The Face, Smash Hits, Arena, BUTT, The Gentlewoman, The Independent, The Times, Another, Another Man, Man About Town, Arena Homme Plus and Sleaze Nation, among many others. I am a long-standing contributor of twenty+ years to i-D, and was formerly i-D Fashion Features Editor. I have interviewed designers, pop stars and artists ranging from John Galliano, Maison Martin Margiela, Giorgio Armani, Hedi Slimane and Jean Paul Gaultier, to Missy Elliot, Beyonce, Britney Spears and Cher, and Nan Goldin, John Waters and Peter Saville.

Past and present clients for content-led and copywriting projects include: Fred Perry, Soho House, The Standard Hotels group, Goyard, Kickers, Swatch, Cerruti, River Island, Pringle, ASOS, LN-CC, Harrods and Selfridges.

My work has featured in various books published by Taschen: 'Fashion Now', 'Fashion Now 2', 'BUTT Book', 'FOREVER BUTT', 'Raf Simons' and '100 Contemporary Fashion Designers'. In 2013 I authored a detailed commentary for 'Michael and Gerlinde's World: Pages From a Diary', published by Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior Men. I combined interviews and my own archive 90s nightclub photographs for 'Sign of The Times', published by Wild Life Press, in 2016. In 2019, I contributed interviews and essays to ‘Fashion Central Saint Martins’, published by Thames & Hudson. In 2021, I wrote about diverse male style leaders, for ‘The Men’s Fashion Book’, published by Phaidon.

Back in the early-90s I was a student at CSM, studying Illustration and Communication Design.
