Biography

I am a researcher, educator and designer. I teach contextual and theoretical studies at London College of Communication and supervise dissertations at Stage 3 on BA Architecture at CSM. I am also course leader of the second-year history and theories studies and lecturer in history and theory at the diploma school at the Architectural Association School of Architecture.

I earned my Ph.D. from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, with a thesis on the transformation of the institutional architecture of the British welfare state to a state of neoliberal workfare. I also hold an M.A. in Histories and Theories (AA) and a MEng. in Civil and Structural Engineering (AUTH).

My research focuses on institutional architectures in regard to issues of social policy, political economy and technology, investigating the practices of governance and more specifically the biopolitical aspects of architecture and planning. I have practiced as a designer and researcher in London since 2007, and my work has been presented in several international conferences, exhibitions and publications.
