I manage the Programme Administration Team (a team of 2.5 staff including myself) for the Fashion Programme, the largest programme at Central Saint Martins with over 900 enrolled students. We provide administrative support and record maintenance in accordance with the procedures and regulations of UAL.
Much of the work I complete is behind the scenes, results letters, quality assurance procedures, examination boards and day to day problem solving for the programme.
My main contact with students is dealing with the many issues that can affect them during their study. I am often the first point of contact for Withdrawals, Transfers, Exchanges, Placements, Year Out and Partial Year Out requests, visa queries and funding issues, or any other issues that may arise.
It's a pleasure working on such a successful programme which can, at times, feel like herding cats as administrative matters are not always a high priority of fashion designers or fashion students.
