Biography

I graduated from MRes Art: Theory and Philosophy in 2015. I am now a theorist, electronic music composer and sound artist. I am the founder and editor-in-chief of Cyclops Journal, an open-access scholarly publication focused on contemporary theory, theory of religion and experimental theory. My current research interests include 20th century French philosophy, continental philosophy of science, noise-music theory, neuroscience and speculative theories on the concept of the sacred.

As a musician, I have released work under the alias CAO on several UK-based labels and compilations such as Opal Tapes and Seagrave, and I was a participant of Red Bull Music Academy in 2016 in Montreal. I was included in Remezcla’s 2016 top 10 most promising electronic artists. I have performed extensively in Europe in festivals like Sonar Reykjavik, Rewire Festival, Fiber Festival and in places such as the Tate Modern and Berghain. In 2018 I premiered a collaboration with visual artist Michael Tan at Martin Gropius-Bau (Berlin) as part of Hexadome exhibition along with Brian Eno, Thom Yorke and more.
