Clare Coulson has taught on the BA Fashion Communication: Fashion Journalism course since 2014 and has been Stage 1 Leader since 2018.
Alongside teaching she is a freelance journalist contributing to titles including the Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, Observer, Sunday Times, House & Garden and contributes to books including The Men’s Fashion Book (Phaidon, 2021) and Blooms (Phaidon, 2019), which she co-edited and co-authored. She was formerly fashion features director at Harper’s Bazaar and fashion editor at The Daily Telegraph and has worked as a writer for brands including Loewe, Stella McCartney, Erdem, Liberty and Net-a-Porter.
