Biography

I completed my BA in Design Communication from Central Saint Martins, going on to complete a postgraduate degree in teaching and learning, specialising in the history of photography through the lens of alternative histories. I am an Associate Lecturer on BA Graphic Communication Design, specialising in image/lens and photography. I also teach fashion photography and contexts at London College of Fashion.

Alongside my ongoing practice in photography and teaching, I am co-founder of SHED, photographic studios and creative coworking hub in east London. I founded SHED after completing my degree at CSM in 2010, and it is home to many fellow UAL alumni. SHED is everything I love about London. We work alongside fellow creative practitioners on a day to day basis, reaffirming the audience and people I wish to surround myself with on my London journey. SHED gives me a thorough understanding of the photographic and fashion industry from the perspective of image production, this helps me form a rounded response when teaching on the industry at large.
