Biography

I am a writer, researcher and educator. My writing has featured in publications including Art Monthly, Afterall Online and Frieze. I have co-curated programmes of film, performance and discussion for Nottingham Contemporary, Turner Contemporary, Flat Time House, Outpost Norwich and David Dale Gallery.

I teach at University of the Arts London alongside my role as Administrator of Afterall Research Centre. I am an Assistant Editor of Afterall One Work book Mark Leckey: Fiourucci Made Me Hardcore by Mitch Speed and organised the 2020 Afterall Journal Reading Group Disobedient Video, led by Lauren Houlton and focusing on an essay by Stéphanie Jeanjean.

In 2017–18 I co-devised with The Bad Vibes Club a series of reading groups, talks and performances on politics and affect for Flat Time House. In 2019 I became a Working Group member of the Feminist Duration Reading Group, co-developing a programme on under-known British feminisms at South London Gallery and domestic spaces (2019–20). I am a member of the research network Group Work: Contemporary Art and Feminism, a collaboration between Dr Rachel Warriner (Courtauld Institute of Art), Dr Amy Tobin (University of Cambridge) and Dr Catherine Grant (Goldsmiths).
