I trained at Drama Centre London on the Professional Instructors’ Course and have acted in Repertory and the West End, on the Fringe, and in television, film and radio. I was co-founder of the Mother’s Ruin Theatre Company and a founder member of the award-winning musical theatre company Direct Current.
For the past ten years I have combined acting with teaching and directing. My work on classical text has led to involvement with an international research project into actor training in Europe, working in Portugal and Paris.
I have also given master classes in Restoration Comedy at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh.
