Biography

I am an architect with 20 years experience in the industry, having worked in the sectors of education, arts, workspace, residential as well as meanwhile use and placemaking strategies.

My interest in making and building informs the way I design and is a driver for constant learning about how things are constructed and the processes involved. I believe that sound detailing and knowledge of materials, brought to life through good craftsmanship, are the essential proof of any good design idea.

I am a director of Leskien Kops architects, where we aim to create spaces that are tailored to the needs of their users, that enrich the way people live, work and come together. An architecture that starts from the inside and is rooted in its spatial and historical context.

Here at CSM I am an Associate Lecturer at BA Architecture. Prior to this I have taught Architecture at the University of Greenwich and the University of Bath.
