Biography

I am an Associate Lecturer in foresight and speculative futures on MA Innovation Management. My research focuses on how 'the future' is produced, ideologised, resisted, and disseminated through material culture. My book, Small Gods, a series of meditations on drone technology, was published by Zero Books in 2021 and generously supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. My essays on art, literature, and technology appear in The White Review, Bookforum, The New Inquiry, Art Review, Real Life, C Magazine, and others. As the Head of Cultural Intelligence at Canvas8, I develop innovative research methods for public, private, and NGO clients, with a focus on culture, ethics and futures.
