I am Pathway Leader for BA Fashion Communication and Promotion and MA Fashion Image at Central Saint Martins. In 2009 I co-founded Preston is my Paris, a multi-faceted project rooted in photography, including publications, site-specific installations, live events, digital applications, education and writing. Preston is my Paris 2009-2019 was released in 2019 published by Dashwood Books.
My practice and research is rooted in photography and the fashion image. Curatorial work includes North: Fashioning Identity, Somerset House, 2018 with Lou Stoppard and SHOWstudio, The Accumulation of Things, Bonington Gallery, 2019 and The Time We Call Our Own, Open Eye Gallery, 2020. I have written articles for Aperture and delivered lectures at Tate Britain, The Photographers’ Gallery and V&A. I have worked closely with Jamie Hawkesworth throughout his career, since developing projects together such as Preston Bus Station.
