Camberwell College of Arts alumnus Paul Schneider is currently exhibiting as one of the shortlisted artists in the running for this year’s prestigious Catlin Art Prize. Finalists are selected from The Catlin Guide 2015 for their “potential to make a significant mark on the art world in the next decade” and compete to win the main prize of £5,000.  The eight finalists are included in the Catlin Art Prize 2015 exhibition which opened on 8 May at Londonewcastle Project Space and runs until the end of the month.

The public will also vote for one artist to win the  £2,000 Visitor Vote  £2,000, with nominations cast via a ballot box at the Londonewcastle Project Space.

Paul graduated from BA Sculpture at Camberwell in 2009 before going on to study at the Royal Academy of Arts. He has recently exhibited at venues including Jerwood Visual Arts and Millington Marriott, founded by fellow Camberwell graduates.

The winner of the prize will be announced this week on 13 May.
