Graphic Design Portfolio Preparation (16 - 18 Year Olds)
From the text on your mobile phone, to the logos on your clothes graphic design is everywhere. This course has been designed specifically for younger students who want to learn more about contemporary graphic design studies. Based in LCC’s expertise in graphic education it will introduce you to the fundamentals of the subject with a large focus on making and experimentation.
Taught through exercises, lectures, workshops and individual guidance it will give you a firm knowledge of the context and techniques of current graphic design. A key focus of the course is the emphasis on cross-disciplinary work and will encourage creative thinking outside of graphic design as a fixed subject area. This may include the application of graphics to fine art, animation, multimedia or interaction.

This course is suitable for you if you between16 – 18 and are considering further study or a career in graphic design.
