Digital Badges and Credentials

We have partnered with Accredible to launch a new range of digital badges and certificates for short course students. Digital badges are a great way to celebrate your achievements and stand out from the crowd.

What are Digital Badges?

Digital badges document an accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed and verified online.

Each digital badge contains unique metadata relating to the course studied. This can include skills acquired, topics covered and hours studied during the course.

Badges can be shared in digital portfolios, used on CVs and added to social media profiles such as LinkedIn. They also make a great addition to university applications and are supported by the UCAS platform.

How do I earn a Digital Badge?

Short course students will earn a digital badge on completion of a course. The more courses you take the more badges you will earn!

What can I do with my Digital Badge?

Digital badges are easy to share across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

You can also add your digital badge to your email signature to highlight your achievements.

Download and print a high-quality PDF of your certificate and badge at any time.

How do I access my Digital Badge?

Our digital badges and certificates can be accessed via the Accredible platform. Sign up for a free account on Accredible to access your badges quickly and easily.

You can also record and store credentials earned from other educational providers on your profile as you continue your learning journey.

Do students still get certificates?

Students will continue to receive a certificate of attendance on completion of a short course. Certificates will be issued alongside digital badges via the Accredible platform.

Certificates will be available in a print-ready format and can be stored safely on Accredible for quick access in the future.
