CQ Studio
Transforming waste into worth.
CQ Studio is an award-winning design lab conducting the R&D of regenerative textiles for fashion. Their work focuses on working with organisations’ post-industrial waste, regenerative plants and post-consumer waste to develop innovative materials and textiles, some of which include patent-pending plastic-free sequins that are biodegradable and made from waste. We use various techniques from traditional crafts to new technologies including embroidery, laser-cutting, biology and plant pigment extraction.
Alongside Material R&D CQ Studio also hosts educational workshops and consultancy for brands and organisations. CQ Studio want to demonstrate that there is worth in our waste to help brands transition to circular and regenerative practices.
