Get creative and meet our support teams for University Mental Health Day on 14 March.
While university is an amazing experience, full of incredible moments and opportunities, we know that it can sometimes feel challenging. You are not alone in this feeling. Our support teams and community are here to support you with your wellbeing.
University Mental Health Day events
Find drop-ins and workshops online and at various UAL sites, to celebrate University Mental Health Day. Themes range from crafting worry dolls, to drawing how you feel, creating a community care pledge and mindful walking.

Creative outlets
- Creative Hour: Wellbeing through art-making, 13 March, 6 – 7pm, online.
- Card Design and Worry Dolls, 14 March, 10am – 4pm, LCC Information Centre.
- Film and Wellbeing workshop, 14 March, 10am – 12pm, LCC.
- Draw how you feel today: a student-led workshop, 14 March, 11 – 2pm, LCC Typo Cafe Glass Box.
- Zine-ing how you feel: a student-led workshop, 14 March, 2.30 - 4.30pm, LCC Darkroom Bar.
- Creating a collective care pledge, 14 March, 10.30am - 12pm, CSM The Street.
- Processing on paper, 14 March, 10.30, 11.00 and 11.30 (30 minute slots), CSM The Street.
Movement and sensory experience
- Yoga workshop, 14 March, 10.30 - 11.30am, LCC.
- Hand massage, 14 March, 12 – 2pm, LCC Typo Cafe.
- Mindful walk, 14 March, 2.30 - 3.30pm, meet at LCC Information Centre.

Get to know some of the key ways you can get mental health and wellbeing support while studying.
- Get free and confidential professional support from the Counselling, Health Advice and Chaplaincy services. Book an appointment via our online request form or attend a mental health advice drop-in (on-site or online).
- Find out how to get urgent mental health support.
- Download Togetherall, a free online mental health app, for 24-hour support.
- Find Quiet Spaces on-site for wellbeing and multi-faith purposes.
