Details

This course is about creativity and storytelling, fiction or non-fiction. Each session is a practical workshop where you can expect lively discussion and debate, in-class readings of written assignments, and on-the-spot feedback. These activities require an assured level of spoken English and aural comprehension, as well as confident written English. We will explore creative concepts, nuances of meaning, intention and interpretation, literary styles and narrative techniques. We will not address issues of grammar, unless key to the storytelling (This is not an English language course). After every workshop, the tutor will send reading materials and assignments for each student to work through for the following week.
