Zbrush for Designers Short Course
Course description
ZBrush is a digital sculpting tool that combines 3D and 2D modelling, including texturing and painting, that is widely used in a number of industries ranging from animation to furniture design.
This course will cover many aspects of the ZBrush software, with the main focus being on sculpting.
Students can expect to learnt about a wide range of topics including Shadow Box, ZSpheres, ZModeller, Hard Surface Modelling, Organic Sculpting, Displacement Maps, UV Master, ZRemesher, Polypainting and more.
This course does not require any prior knowledge of the software and is suitable for absolute beginners, 2D to 3D converts, designers (architecture, jewellery, furniture, fashion etc), artists, clay-to-digital converts, animators, games artists, digital and visual effects artists, 3D printers and more.

Pre-requisites:
No previous experience is necessary, however, a basic understanding of computers would be helpful.

- As long as you attend a minimum of 80% of your classes, we will provide you with a certificate of attendance.
- We always recommend you attend all of the classes so that you get the most out of the experience!
- Certificates are great to complement your cv.
This course is scheduled to run on campus in a face-to-face delivery format. Please note that due to the ongoing pandemic situation this course may be adapted in line with UK government guidance or other operational requirements. This may include changing course location (to another UAL site), cancellation of the course, or moving part or all of the course online. - Sketches and reference material (photos etc) of 3D objects that interest you
- A wacom tablet, if you have one, would be extremely beneficial
