Location
The Costume Store is a great place for UAL students to live and a really popular choice especially for those studying at London College of Fashion.
The halls of residence are opposite North Acton tube station (Central Line), which offers quick and convenient access to many of the UAL College sites. The UAL Pre-degree Studies site in Lime Grove is just 10 minutes away on the tube, followed by a short walk. London College of Fashion at East Bank is easily reachable on a direct 60-minute tube journey.
It is located on the site that once housed the BBC’s costume collection in North Acton, West London. It accommodates students in contemporary and stylish ensuite cluster flats and large self-contained studios.
The local area has a small supermarket, independent coffee shops, a local pub and various fast food take away restaurants.

- Studio rooms are £314.00 per week, £15,700.00 in total. These rooms are approximately between 25 and 27 metres squared and have double beds.
- Studio (mobility adaptable) rooms are £222.00 per week, £11,100.00 in total. These rooms are approximately between 24 and 27 metres squared and have single or double beds.
- Premium studio rooms are £339.00 per week, £16,950.00 in total. These rooms are approximately between 25 and 26 metres squared and have double beds.
- Large premium studio rooms are £366.00 per week, £18,300.00 in total. These rooms are approximately between 29 and 31 metres squared and have double beds.
Study Abroad and Exchange students 2024-25
Tenancies for Study Abroad and Exchange students have fixed contract dates, and room prices are different from our standard full-year tenancies. You will have the option to pay your rent in full or choose a termly payment plan when accepting your room offer.
