Gardens House in Camberwell is less than a minute’s walk from Camberwell College of Arts and exclusively for UAL students. With a bus stop right outside the hall, it's easy to reach London College of Communication and Chelsea College of Arts via public transport.

Situated on the College campus grounds, Gardens House is ideal for students looking for a campus-style living experience where they can benefit from easy access to Camberwell College facilities and the UAL Canteen and Cafés. Gardens House also sits alongside Portland House, creating a strong sense of student community.

The hall features a large creative workshop and study room, as well as a spacious common room for relaxing and socialising. Right next door is a supermarket, with a wide range of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby, plus local cultural highlights such as South London Gallery and the lively Rye Lane Market. The surrounding area is known for its creative energy and vibrant community, and there are plenty of parks and green spaces close by, including Burgess Park, Brunswick Park with its tennis courts, and the expansive Peckham Rye Common.
