Archives & Resources

From fashion and theatre design, to textiles and illustration, the collections of the University reflect the diversity of visual arts, from the 1400s until the present day.

The Archives and Special Collections Centre and the six colleges that form the University hold a remarkable range of archives and special collections that reflect art and design and their unique specialisms. They are relevant to the wide range of disciplines that embody the vision of the University:

"to be recognised as one of the foremost institutions in the world for learning, practice, research and development in arts, design and communication".

Visit the Archives and Special Collections Centre page and pages for the collections held at the six colleges, where listing contacts and detailed collection information can be found.

The general public are welcome to use our resources but may need to make an appointment. To do so, contact the college collection you wish to use by visiting the college pages to the right and emailing or contacting the relevant person by phone.
