Wimbledon Collections and Archives

Wimbledon College of Arts Library has 2 inspiring Special Collections to support teaching and learning in the College.

Artists' Books Collection

We have a growing collection of Artists' books in the library with recent acquisitions focussing on areas of teaching within the college, including drawing. This adds to our existing collection (c.40) initiated in the 1980s which were purchased in collaboration with academic staff and are relevant to a variety of disciplines taught at Wimbledon. The collection can be found on the University of the Arts London Library catalogue.

Theatre programmes

We have a large and growing collection of theatre programmes dating from 1905 onwards. We have programmes from productions at the national theatres in London to smaller local theatres including our local theatre Wimbledon Theatre. The collection can be found on the University of the Arts London Library catalogue.

Access and use arrangements

To view a closed access item please place the request when you make a study space booking. Check Library Search and copy and paste the URL for your item or add author, title, journal issue/volume and date, plus location shelved at and shelfmark.

Please note: the Jocelyn Herbert Archive previously held at Wimbledon College of Art has moved to The National Theatre Archives.
