Streetwear and Sportswear Design Short Course

Course description

This short course covers the essentials of Streetwear and Sportswear Design and offers the necessary foundation knowledge for designing technical, functional and aesthetically trend driven collections.

You will be able to apply this to a variety of specialisms within the industry, whether this is haute couture, avant-garde streetwear or for functional technical sportswear. This course offers a great introduction to Streetwear and Sportswear Design and the tools for beginning your creative sportswear design journey with confidence.

You'll focus on research development, market profiling, planning, concept development and exploring design details and components.
You will work independently and in a group with regular feedback throughout.

Please note that this a design based course and does not include any garment construction work or pattern cutting.

Level:

Beginners. You should have an interest in the subject area and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required.

Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older.
