UAL Creative Computing Institute is now offering a Fully Online Mode of the Diploma in Creative Computing (year in creative computing) for the next academic year. This has been specifically developed to support students who would prefer to study online next year, returning to their main subject degrees in September 2021.

The year in creative computing gives students a material understanding of the computational technologies that underpin much innovation in both the creative industries and arts and design practice.

This New Fully Online Mode gives current 2nd year students the opportunity to study with other undergraduates from across the university, from anywhere in the world — joining an exciting network of academics, researchers, practitioners, artists and designers within UAL Creative Computing Institute. Online mode students can also start online and switch to in-person mode in January 2021.

They are also opening an additional late application route for in-person study for UK and EU students.

Important information regarding fees

Fully Online Mode attracts the same fees as In-Person Mode and contains the equivalent learning hours and individual support delivered fully online.

  • For our International students – the Fully Online Mode is charged as an additional year of study at the usual rate.
  • For UK and EU students – the Fully Online Mode cannot be funded by student loans in the usual way so will need to be self-funded as an extra year of online study. Please contact cci@arts.ac.uk if you have questions about this.
  • For UK and EU students – we are also opening an additional late application route for in-person study for the diploma for which you can receive student loans in the normal way.
