Introduction to Illustration (Online)
Online courses occur as 1.5 hour live sessions, during which time you will interact with your tutor, classmates and course content using in-built audio and video chat, instant messaging and the virtual work display area.

This course is designed for beginner and intermediate level illustrators. The course aims to capture the essence of the BA Graphic Design course at Central Saint Martins. If you have just started on your illustration journey or have been experimenting with your visual language for a while then you should find this course really interesting.
This course will take a broad outlook at illustration and will challenge what we think of as being illustration. We will look into illustration disciplines such as sequential narrative, book covers and illustration for reportage, and other projects and workshops which use illustration to define space and communicate more abstract ideas like dreams and music.

Iñaki Arbelaiz Is a trained MsC Architect and Urbanist, MsC Industrial Design and UX, and has an extensive international experience working on spatial innovation and urban behaviour, innovation systems design and roll out, and creative and service-oriented organizational design. This experience includes work on areas of urban invigoration in Russia, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and Netherlands. Current projects include the Creative Systematic for the Basque Culinary Centre and Innovation Service Design for Ferrovial-Amey UK. He is also a visiting practitioner on the MA Innovation Management programme at Central Saint Martins.
