Description

Are you able to knit, but keen to learn new ways to work with yarn?

Textile artist Clare Sams will introduce you to the processes involved in knitting with colour. Through workshop sessions you will learn various methods for colourwork knitting including intarsia, fairisle, and swiss darning. Learn how to design your own urban or rural landscape and convert it to a hand knitting chart. Using these skills you will then knit your own image from a chart and create a unique piece of textile art. At the end of the course you will be a more confident and adventurous knitter, with new skills to create more exciting projects.

Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older
