Programmes that support your students

Arts Temps

Arts Temps is UAL’s recruitment agency, placing students and graduates in temporary jobs at UAL. Arts Temps also works with employers within the creative and non-creative industries to source temporary and permanent jobs. As a London Living Wage Employer Arts Temps helps students improve their employability and gain vital experience to enhance their professional networks.

Creative Opportunities

Creative Opportunities is a free industry jobs board provided by UAL’s Careers and Employability. It specialises in entry-level graduate jobs and paid internships. The site advertises jobs and paid internships in both creative and non-creative sectors and all jobs meet or exceed the National Minimum Wage.

Events programme

We run a range of events throughout the year including: CV checks, strategies for job hunting, skills for interviews, developing your portfolio - and many more. We also provide workshops and guidance on applying for opportunities such as Start-up Visas, the Mead Fund and mentoring.

Our enterprise events programme covers topics associated with launching and growing your own business including: freelancing, marketing and self-promotion and working with retailers. Students can also book a one-to-one enterprise advice session to discuss their business idea.

Events are free and open to students from all UAL Colleges, with many events open to graduates too.

not just a shop

Based in High Holborn, not just a shop sells design products and artwork created by UAL students and alumni to the public, providing many of them with their first experience of working with a retailer. Students and graduates from all Colleges can apply to have their work considered for sale through our open calls.

Proceeds are reinvested back into our enterprise programme, which supports UAL students and graduates with their businesses.
