Join Local radio station Voices as they venture out of their studio in Coal Drops Yard and broadcast live from the NuMoment stage. DJs will be playing a range of genres from ambient classical, downtempo, soul and funk, to broken beat and afrobeat.

No strangers to pop-up broadcasts, Voices was formerly a nomadic club series called Ossia throwing parties up and down the country. Rebranded as Voices in 2020, they have evolved to be a platform amplifying social issues through panels and events.

Join Voices in Granary Square at the NuMoment stage for a broadcast that celebrates local young talent throughout the evening. Hosted by King’s Cross and Central Saint Martins Artist-in- Residence 2024, The Decorators.

Line up:

Henn

"I grew up in Camden and have a deep love for the area, I'm 24 and my main interest is postpunk/indie electronica. my stepdad was a punk living in camden in the 80s so reckon he'll have some good insight"

Nathalia

"I live on the cusp of Islington and Hackney and work in Camden. My DJ mix will be a focus on punk within electronic music - how joy division led to new order, how the experimentation with guitar music still influences effects in techno, etc. think it would be really fun to do a set that mixes all the genres I normally play separately together.

Jake Lake

"I am very local. So much so that my parents used to squat a stones throw away from coal drops yard and were a part of a lot of the cooperative housing around there. My old man and his mates were in various post punk/anarcho punk bands that are linked to that area. I would be happy to play a set exploring this music and moving into more rave/hardcore based stuff that was significant in my life."

Jamie Adam

" I absolutely love 90s acid and rave tunes and have previously done a few radio shows on the history of rave and it's social & cultural impact and importance etc. My connection to the area is that I work for voices as a producer and radio assistant."
