Beauty is a growing factor in the fashion industry and this course will be focused on illustrating the fashion face.
This course is designed for students who already have some drawing skills and want to further explore illustration focusing on the face. Along with the technicalities of drawing, there will be an introduction to the psychology of beauty to better understand what is naturally pleasing to an audience. The course will include live demos on each element of the face (such as eyes, ears, mouth and nose) alongside a portrait model for live practice.
This course will support you as you begin explore your technical abilities and experiment with the the aesthetics of beauty. You will be encouraged to find your own style and the tutor will cater to individual needs with one to one sessions.
The course will end with a class dedicated to creating portfolio pieces using different mediums.
