Want to show the world what makes UAL unique? The creative future of our prospectus is in your hands.
Our content team is looking for powerful images to inspire the next generation of artists and makers applying to UAL.
For our 2021/22 undergraduate prospectus and postgraduate guide, we’d like to feature outstanding student work on over 100 different front covers – and we want you to get involved!
From fascinating objects to dramatic performances, we want to show the true diversity of imagery created by our students during their time at UAL. You just need to be a current student on a pre-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate course at UAL and own the content (the work featured should be yours).
This is a great opportunity to see your existing work in print, with your full credits on the back cover. If your image is selected we’ll send you a copy of the prospectus with your cover on it for your portfolio.
How to enter
There are 2 ways to get involved:
1. Send us your images
If you already have high quality images of your existing work (min. 300 DPI JPEG/TIFF), email these through to us at ualprospectus@arts.ac.uk by Monday 13 January 2020. Please include your full name, course and College. Once we’ve received your submission, we’ll contact you by the end of February to let you know if this has been selected to appear as one of the prospectus covers.
2. Join our photoshoot
If you don’t already have high quality images of your existing work, we have limited spaces available on a photoshoot taking place on Tuesday 26 November. This is a great chance for you to get professional images of your work, which we’ll provide to all students participating in the shoot.
This photoshoot is open to students from all courses and study levels, although priority will be given to students on pre-degree and undergraduate courses.
If you’d like to take part, email us as soon as possible at ualprospectus@arts.ac.uk. Please include your full name, course, College and some information about what you’d like to bring. If possible, send us a photo too; this can be in any format as long as we can clearly see the scale and materiality of the work.
If you can’t make this date but you want to get involved, email us to let us know as there may be a second photoshoot in January.

By submitting an image, you’re agreeing to our Terms and Conditions below.
- In consideration of the possible dissemination of the photograph(s) gathered from the prospectus cover call out, I hereby consent to the use of my submission (in photo format) for communications, promotional and marketing purposes by UAL.
- I agree that my submission and accompanying information will be stored, processed, reproduced, edited, re-arranged, distributed, published, transmitted and/or broadcast by or with the permission of the University for the above purposes for 5 years.
- I also agree that:
- I will have no claim for usage fees or other payments in respect of any use made of my submission and
- copyright in my submission (in photo format) will be retained by University of the Arts London.
