During the panel selection process there was an impressive breadth of skills, techniques and ideas in both menswear and womenswear on display.  By becoming involved in London Fashion Week, London College of Fashion underlines the capital’s reputation as the fashion city which consistently produces the next generation of industry stars.

Lou Stoppard Associate Editor at SHOWstudio said;

It’s so exciting that London College of Fashion are showing at LFW. London is the most amazing city for fashion and design education and it’s great that we’ll get to see a range of the talent out there. The selected designers really impressed me with their vision and technical process – what rising stars! They’re a real credit to London College of Fashion.

Professor Frances Corner, Pro-Vice Chancellor at LCF commented;

Moving the MA Show to coincide with London Fashion Week is a significant step in the development of our postgraduate offer and signals the coming of age of our MA programmes which are consistently providing some of the industry’s most talented fashion designers and professionals.

Reflecting the global nature of fashion business, the ten London trained designers are from all parts of the world, including the Far-East, Europe and Asia and are testament to LCF’s reputation as the leading destination for fashion design education.

As well as showcasing mens and womenswear on catwalk the MA13 season will continue at Victoria House Basement with a Pecha Kucha, Fashion Management Breakfast, film screenings and the MA13 Exhibition showcasing photography, footwear, accessories, artefact and sustainable fashion.
