Using the state of the art printmaking facilities at our site in Elthorne Rd (Archway tube). This open access course offers great opportunities for all students who want to further develop their work and have good printmaking experience or have completed the Experimental Printmaking or Mixed Media Printmaking courses taught by Sean Myers at Central Saint Martins. Intaglio and Relief printmaking access will mainly include the use of the 3 etching presses (A4 to A1 sizes), the Alexandra and Beaver presses, A1 Light Box, Digital Mac Suite and the excellent colour copying facilities in the college. Techniques available include: embossing/debossing, drypoint, monoprint, texture printing, lino/wood cut, chine-collé, paper cut stencil, collograph, photo polymer and photo transfer printing. Although the course is open access, to enable you to work on your own projects, Sean Myers will be present throughout to help and advise and give demonstrations where required.
