Tutor information

Alex Darche is the founder of the British label Daisy Darche, which she established while studying for a BA in History of Art and Archaeology. The label was initially picked up by Liberty of London and subsequently by other department stores and boutiques in the UK and abroad.

Her fascination with colour and creating moods in patterns is reflected in the label’s focus on bold, vivid prints on silks. Influences from the Far East are also visible in Alex’s designs.

Since completing an MA in Textiles specialising in Print at the Royal College of Art, Alex has worked as a freelancer designer and brand consultant collaborating with other designers and labels on various special projects.
